“A fascinating insight into a life spent in the police force and a searing indictment of the changing value governments and society put on our officers“
“A witty but poignant clarion call for government support for a better, more valued police force and a better society“
“Thanks for this evening. I really enjoyed your personal tour through events which still resonate today and the legacy of ill-conceived political interventions in this country’s policing.”

“From the beat to the breakdown, ex-detective Jack Bryan doesn't just tell a story; he lives it. Brace yourself for a tragi-comic journey through modern British policing that's so vivid you'll feel every laugh and every surge of fury right alongside him“
Terence Lewis, Playwright
“Jack Bryan engaged with the audience from the start with his down to earth comedy approach.
This included early life as a uniformed officer through to various specialist investigation departments.
Each stage gave a flavour of the work involved adding a humorous element but never straying from the reality of the serious and demanding side of policing which the general public do not always appreciate.
This is an honest account from someone who is proud to have served the public for 30 years and I would recommend it to anyone with an interest in seeing inside the world of policing.“
